Our Matron/Manager is Marie Wood, who was honoured in the Queens Birthday Honours List. Marie works closely with her colleague Linda James, both are qualified and experienced in Specialist Palliative Care.

Our team also includes two professionally trained nurses, who are essential links to the Tissue Viability Service, ensuring all our residents benefit from up to date research regarding treatment and healing.

All staff are given training in safe moving and handling techniques, adult protection, food handling and fire prevention.  As well as care staff, we have a head cook, kitchen assistants, cleaners, our own in-house laundry and full time maintenance team.  Together they form a cohesive friendly team, focused on the personal care and requirements of all our residents
