"good old fashioned home cooking"

To all the staff,
At the end of the day that Frederick ended his life with us all, I felt that I would like to write to you on behalf of myself, my mother and John to express our thanks for your professionalism while caring for my father.
His time in your care was happy and relaxed. My mother was treated with consideration and respect, even when she was not feeling well herself, when she made her twice weekly visits to Glottenham Manor
Once again, thanks.

To all the staff,
A few lines just to say many thanks to you, your nursing staff and care workers for looking after my father (Ted) with such compassion and thoughtfulness.
Your kindness to my husband and myself was much appreciated.
We were always welcomed on our visits with a cheery smile

To all the staff,
A rather belated THANK YOU for my stay with you at the end of last month and into November. I am sorry it has taken me this long to write, but when I got here I developed a urinary tract infection and antibiotics were prescribed. I meant to say thank you to everyone who was involved with my care at Glottenham Manor. I enjoyed my stay, made more pleasurable by the fact that you were all so friendly and willing to do everything you could to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Wishing you all a very peaceful Christmas,
Yours, David

To all the staff,
On behalf of the family I would like to thank you and all the staff for the care and love you gave to mum during her stay with you and especially during her last days, Rita.

To all the staff,
Please convey to Gill and the other staff our sincere and heartfelt thanks for the flowers and the sympathy shown to us on the passing of our dear Mum, Ethel.
We want you to know just how much we appreciate the wonderful loving care given to Ethel during the last three years. She always spoke highly of all the people looking after her and we feel sure she was as happy as anyone could be under her circumstances. She was always a very independent lady and therefore found it very difficult finally having to succumb to having everything done for her. Only we know how courageously she battled on looking after herself through her progressive disability, seldom without pain but also seldom complaining. Finally, and only when she knew she couldn't carry on, she made the decision to be looked after, we could not have found a better place for her to end her days.
We feel that your approach to care, with few 'rules and regulations' is the right one and makes the home more a home rather than an institution. Ethel would have hated being put to bed at a time to suit 'the system' rather than her own choice. You are a great team, don't change anything, it works.
